Welcome to the 2024 CRR Twelve Mile Coulee cross-country event, race seven of the 2023-2024 Grand Prix series. The event features a short fun run for little kids at 11:45 am, followed by a mass start for 4 km and 8 km runners, at Noon.
Location – Park at the Tuscany Community Hall , 212 Tuscany Way NW. The race start – and this is where you will PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE – is a 10 minute walk from the hall, at the 12 Mile Coulee Park northeast corner parking lot, southwest side of Tuscany Blvd. (Google map link)
Directions – The Tuscany Community Hall is located at 212 Tuscany Way NW (Google map link). Race starts at the North end of the 12 Mile Coulee park, 10 min walk from the Hall. There is a small parking lot at the race start/finish location, but it fills quickly.
Park in designated lots, either at Start / Finish (Google map link), or preferably, at Tuscany Club (Google map link). The CRR Club is not responsible for ticketed vehicles.
Course Description – Kids run course is about ~0.5 km long on a pathway / dirt track. The 4 km and 8 km races will run on the benchlands above and on trails in the coulee. The usual X-C hazards will be encountered, including snow, mud, and icy patches. Spikes or cleats are recommended for the 8K and 4K run. 4 km is one lap down and up the coulee, 8 km is two laps.
Agatha and Evan are our Race Directors for the event. Please contact them to offer help – people volunteering at the event, or bringing soups takes a lot of load off RDs’ shoulders.
Post-Race Meal & Social will be held at the Tuscany Community Hall , 212 Tuscany Way NW (walking distance West of race start)
Hot soup, rolls and beverages will be served. Please bring a dessert to share with race participants and bring your own mug, bowl and spoon to reduce waste.
Event online pre-registration is now OPEN on this WEBFORM – don’t forget to bring in cash to the race and pay your entry fees on-site (START/FINISH area). The WEBFORM will be closed on Friday January 26th at 9 pm.
