Welcome to the 2024 CRR Edworthy Park cross-country event (33rd annual), race 4 of the 2024-2025 Grand Prix series. The event features a short fun run for little kids, followed by a mass start for 4 km and 8 km runners.
Park in designated lots, along the curb or at the gravel parking lot North of the park entrance. The CRR Club is not responsible for ticketed vehicles.
Race begins at the Edworthy Park south entrance, hundred meters from the Thomas Percival parking lot (South Edworthy Park). Arriving from Bow Trail, turn north onto 45th St., then turn west on to Spruce Drive, and head three blocks west. Edworthy Park x/c is historically one of the iciest runs, so spiked xc runners, studded shoes, or pull-on cleats will help improve footing – watch the weather and make the right footwear decision.
Isabelle and Philippe are our Race Directors for the event. Please contact them to offer help – people volunteering at the event, or bringing soups takes a lot of load off RDs’ shoulders.
Post-Race Meal & Social will be held at the Bow Cliff Seniors Centre (3375 Spruce Drive SW Calgary AB) **Note the new hall location**
Hot soup, rolls and beverages will be served. Please bring a dessert to share with race participants and bring your own mug, bowl and spoon to reduce waste.
On-line Event pre-registration is now CLOSED via this WEB_FORM. The webform will close at 9 pm on Friday before the race.
Please bring exact amount of cash (or check to Calgary Roadrunners) to the start.

Cross country running course starts in a the South end of the Edworthy Park.
Parking and amenities are at the Bow Cliff Seniors Centre (3375 Spruce Drive SW Calgary AB), 2.2 km East of the Start/Finish. Limited parking next to the race start at Thomas Percival parking lot (South Edworthy Park)

- 4 km Children 12 and Under Masters 70+, Male and Female Open
- 8 km Age Categories, 10 year bracket, Male and Female
- General entry – $12
- Calgary Roadrunner members – $8
- Full-time students – $6
- Children 12 & Under are FREE
Parent/Guardian must sign waiver for a participant under 18 years old entered in the all races.
