Congratulations to all Calgary Roadrunners who participated in the Calgary Marathon distances on Sunday, May 26th! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Your determination and hard work have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of our club members. Whether it was your first race or your fiftieth, your spirit and perseverance were inspiring!
We were super stocked to see so many of current and past Roadrunners on the course; even the cold rainy weather could not dumpen runners’ enthusiam!
Too many achevements to list here, but perhaps we’d mention Joe Morin who finished the 60 km Ultra distance, Miss N. Bird who placed 3rd female in 5 km, Margaret and Ed finishing 1st in their age groups, Kevin’s 2:50 Marathon, and Jenn’s first sub-4 marathon among others!
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this event a success. Your support and encouragement along the way were invaluable. 🙌
