Welcome to the 40th Annual Edworthy Park Cross-Country Meet, Race 4 in the 2025-2026 Calgary Roadrunners Grand Prix Series. Calgary Roadrunners first ran Edworthy (on Douglas Fir trail) in 1986, back then directed by Bob Dumalanede. This is the 4th year the event is directed by 6-star Abbott Marathon Major finishers Isabelle P.and Philippe L.(who have also served three years as the Silver Springs RDs).

Event Schedule

Course Details

This late-season trail race offers scenic views and a challenging course through South Edworthy Park. The race begins at the south entrance of the park. Expect icy or muddy conditions — trail shoes, spikes, or cleats are recommended. Parking is available in designated lots and along the curb; the club is not responsible for ticketed vehicles.

Race Categories

  • 0.5-1 km – Children 12 and Under
  • 4 km – Children 12 and Under, Masters 70+, Male and Female Open
  • 8 km – Age Groups in 10-Year Brackets, Male and Female

Entry Fees

  • General Entry: $12
  • CRR Members: $8
  • Full-Time Students: $6
  • Children 12 & Under: Free

Parent or guardian must sign a waiver for participants under 18.

Post-Race Social

After the race, join us at the Bow Cliff Seniors Centre (3375 Spruce Drive SW) for hot soup, rolls, and beverages. Bring your own mug, bowl, and spoon. Please bring desserts to share with others.

Volunteering
