Welcome to CRR Nose Creek cross-country race, event number 6 of the 2025–2026 Grand Prix Series. This race features a kids’ fun run and mass start races of approximately 4 km and 8 km. We would like to celebrate the Return of the Dog! The Dog, a part of the Rancher Hanson statue, was stolen a year ago, but since has been replaced with a fresh clone.

The Nose Creek race, held near Nose Creek and Deerfoot Trail, began in 1986 under Bob Dumalanede, who directed it for 11 years. Since then, it has been led by Radim Vesely (3 years), George McWilliam (6 years), Dawn Hopkins ‘the Pink Chick’ (7 years), and Maria Z & Steve T (3 years). The 2026 edition marks the 40th running of the event and Oleg’s ninth year as race director.
